Dr.Rohit Sharma has an experience of about 16 years in the field of psychiatry.Studied at prestigious medical colleges of India. He has completed his MBBS with honours from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow, UP. Further he has done his master’s degree in Psychiatry (MD) from one of the best medical college of Rajasthan, Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur. During his tenure he has got expertise in outpatient and in patients departments and research work. He has also worked in Deaddiction centre and has also expertise in medico-legal aspects of psychiatry.

Worked as senior registrar at Gobind Ballabh Pant Hospital and Maulana Azad Medical College for three years where he got expertise in liaison psychiatry, in dealing with complicated and comorbid cases.

He has run special clinics as deaddiction clinic, psychosexual clinics, OCD clinics.
He has also worked as an Assistant Professor, department of psychiatry, at Saraswati Institute of medical sciences, UP.

He has presented several research papers at state, zonal and national conferences.
Ha has been trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy at NIMHANS, Bangalore.

He is also the recipient of prestigious Dr.Bukshey Award for best research paper presentation at north zonal IPS.

He is a Certified Tobacco cessation trainer by society of tobacco control, VP chest institute, DU, India.

He has been regularly interviewed and quoted in print media (newspaper, magazines) and Radio FM.

He has conducted various workshops for awareness of mental illness, few of them are:

  •  Awareness workshop on “Depression and Anxiety” among Delhi police personals at Police Station, GTB Enclave, Delhi.
  • He updates himself with recent advances in the field of mental health.
